Seems to me you guys have miscalculated this tin pot cup the books will have us believe to be an important part of both the football season, and indeed our lives.
Don't even start to dream that the Brazilian team in this French based competition is the one that has seduced you in days gone by. It isn't and it won't be.
It will be a Brazilian team made up largely of blokes who, having finished their own domestic season, will be happy to pull on the famous green and gold shirt because they're proud to do so but when it really matters they won't be within a hundred miles of selection.

Look for the outsider to win this and when looking for a real goalfest then don't look here.
You'll be awfully disappointed.
And don't play me those old tunes again.......

Alex? You take your daily nourishment from the old mother country yet you are so quick to pull her down.
You should perhaps get in the sack with Jack Dee and discover what a sore arse really is.

The Usa gave it a try playing by the international rules, but after today's poor result, look for them to take inspiration
from their recent geopolitical military
conquest, and decide to play the next fixture
by their own rules.
I have heard this will consist of the players
using sport utiltiy vehicles to speed around the pitch, with the keeper manning an abrams tank
in front of the net.Offensive opportunities will be created and supported by tactical air strikes from naval vessels located in the
Atlantic.
Look for a bit of regime change here in
euro footie land, and the presence of wmd's
(Wingers of Mass Deception) has been confirmed.
so mssr's Blair& Straw have offered their
support.

The boos that greeted the Americans every time they touched the ball was a tad disappointing. I always get a feeling of deja vu whenever the French make a political gesture and I also have a feeling the French do too.

Yes, Jackdee, you're right. It was a hit below the belt and I apologise.

If he's smart the Pope will have a copy of the Koran on his bookshelf.
Whatever this has to do with Colombians, New Zealanders, Japs or Frenchmen, I do not know.
What I do know is available through subscription in the appropriate forum.
